Author of The Aeowyn Books
Download Resume

Greetings! So here is a little bit about myself, the author ... I work within a mental health facility located in Plymouth, Indiana. I mostly work with pre-teens, adolescences, and to a lesser degree adults. I am part of a team that helps people overcome various mental health problems, addictions, traumas, suicidal ideation, and various other mental health issues.

I noticed many of the adolescences, and adult patients like to read books to pass the time, and find a bit of an escape from their own lives. I've had much of the story for the Aeowyn books in my head for a while, and over time I would share details of the Aeowyn story when discussing various books with the patients. Some of the adolescent girls mentioned they'd really like to read the story of Aeowyn some day, and asked if I would ever write and publish it, so in mid December of 2021, I began to write the first book, Aeowyn Unexpected Achievements.

Unfortunately for me, I didn't listen very well during English class in school, and now I am paying the price for my lack of discipline during my own adolescent years. I spend more time editing my grammar errors in the book, than writing it, which is why the book is taking so long to write. When I was younger, I never thought I'd be writing a teenage girl drama as a book, but here I am, writing the Aeowyn series of books, which I do hope you enjoy.

I never did graduate from High School, I dropped out a few weeks into my junior year. Later in my early twenties, at the behest of a former girlfriend, I went and took the G.E.D. test, and passed, obtaining my G.E.D. During that time, I would fix and build numerous computers for family, friends, and nearly anyone that I found with a need for a computer. I not only built computers but set to learn nearly every Information Technology science computers are being used for today, like hardware, software, networking, Internet, and multimedia technologies. In the year 2000, I began college at I.T.T. in Fort Wayne for Computer Networking Systems Technology, for which I later graduated with an associates degree. Then put my I.T. skills to work helping numerous non-profit organizations, like Rachel's Home in Plymouth, and First Baptist Church, which later became Blessed Hope Church in Plymouth.

In August of 2004, I volunteered as the web developer for Rachel's Home, a pregnancy crisis center located in Plymouth, Indiana and by 2009 I became the Executive Director. Then in the summer of 2009 I ran across a document overview of how to establish my own non-profit organization and took up the effort to establish the Indiana Non-Profit Information Technology Organization or "INPITO" to continue and expand on the great ideals of providing Information Technology solutions to people and organizations that are in need of these solutions. In 2012, in an effort to better help out the young ladies that came to the pregnancy crisis center, I completed a course in counseling through Cornerstone Ministries in La Paz, Indiana.

Fortunately for me, my skill in writing websites, are useful in helping to write this ... which I will probably add more content to later.
